After an FIR was filed against Swami Avimukteswaranand and one of his disciples for sexually abusing minors, they had approached the High Court to avoid arrest. The case is registered under the POCSO Act. Swami Avimukteswarananda had moved the High Court in the POCSO Act case. Swami Avimukteswarananda termed the allegations against him completely baseless and called them a government conspiracy. Now all eyes are on the final decision of the High Court.

Speaking to reporters at Srividya Math, said, “Everyone has the right to express their opinion in the High Court today. Both we and the plaintiff will decide whose version of events is true. I hope I get bail. My lawyers will also present evidence. Because in this case, a false edifice has been constructed by fabricating a story. This edifice will inevitably collapse and the truth will surely come out.”
