Maruti e Vitara is available with two battery options – 49 kWh and 61 kWh. According to the company, the range of these SUVs is around 440 km and 543 km respectively. Its torque is 193 Nm. The Hyundai Creta Electric offers 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh batteries. The range of this SUV is around 420 km and 510 km, while the torque is 200 Nm. So the e Vitara is ahead in terms of range, while the Creta Electric has slightly more torque.
The Creta Electric is a bit ahead when it comes to charging. It charges in about 4 to 4.5 hours via an AC charger, while the e Vitara takes about 6.5 to 9 hours to fully charge. The Creta Electric is also slightly faster in DC fast charging.
Price
Talking about the price, the Maruti e Vitara starts at around Rs 15.99 lakh, while the Hyundai Creta Electric starts at around Rs 18.02 lakh. That means the e Vitara is cheaper by around Rs 2 lakh.
Which SUV to buy?
If you value more range and lower price then Maruti e Vitara can be a good option. However, if fast charging and premium features are desired, the Hyundai Creta Electric may be a better fit.
