According to the information, the victim is originally from Nepal and is working in a private company in Kurukshetra, Haryana. On Tuesday she came to Gurugram to meet someone she knew. It is being told that when the woman’s friend could not find her, she became mentally distressed and due to this stress, she consumed alcohol. Late at night, when she was looking for a vehicle to return home, she took an auto rickshaw. Apart from the driver, two other youths were already sitting in this auto.

The brutality of taking the unconscious person into the room

The victim told in her statement to the police that she was unconscious due to intoxication, taking advantage of which the accused took her to an isolated room in Naharpur Rupa area. The woman says she has no recollection of the journey, but when she regained consciousness the next morning, she was in an unknown room and had been gang-raped. The accused took advantage of the helpless condition of the woman and put humanity to shame.

Major action by police: Main accused UP auto driver arrested

After regaining consciousness, the victim showed bravery and immediately informed the police. As soon as the case was registered in Gurugram’s Sadar police station on Wednesday, the police crime team became active. Police arrested the main accused late on Wednesday night, who has been identified as an auto driver hailing from Uttar Pradesh. The police is now busy searching for the owner of that room and the other two absconding youths present in the auto. Raids are being conducted at the possible hideouts of the accused.
