CBI will challenge in High Court

Therefore, the investigating agency CBI has decided to appeal to the High Court immediately. The CBI will immediately challenge the decision of the Rouse Avenue court.
What exactly happened in the court
Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia reach the Rouse Avenue court for the hearing of the liquor scam case. Kejriwal and Sisodia appeared in person, while K. Kavita, Amandeep Dhal and several other accused participated in the hearing through video conferencing. While acquitting all the accused, the court in its verdict said that there was no grand conspiracy or criminal intent in the excise policy. The court closed the CBI case against all 23 accused including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case.

A rebuke to the CBI
During the hearing, Special Judge Jitendra Singh slammed the CBI for its flawed investigation and said the detailed charge sheet contained several errors which were not supported by witnesses or statements. No prima facie case was filed. The court refused to fix the charge. The Court has also held that a fair trial requires a fair trial, but this was not found to be the case in this case.
