Major train accident averted in Bihar: Track of new railway line broken in just 10 days, Bagaha-Patliputra Express narrowly escaped

Desk: A major train accident was averted in Bettiah, Bihar. Bagaha-Patliputra Intercity Express narrowly escaped an accident here. CRS of 9 kilometer doubling work in Kumar Bagh railway section was held on 18th February. After that the train started running on this railway section at a speed of 120 km.

Within just 10 days, the railway track was fractured and a major accident was averted. Due to rail track fracture near Kumar Bagh railway station, the Intercity Express remained standing for about 2 hours.
