Political battle intensifies after acquittal in excise policy case, Manoj Tiwari attacks – “Lies will lose”

digital desk- Political rhetoric has intensified after the Rouse Avenue Court acquitted 23 accused, including Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, in the alleged Delhi excise policy case. Bharatiya Janata Party MP Manoj Tiwari, reacting to the decision, launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party. Manoj Tiwari said that “corruption and the corrupt have many hands and feet.” He alleges that whenever allegations were made against AAP leaders, the possibility of tampering with evidence came to the fore. He said the court’s decision was shocking, but he was confident that “the lie will ultimately lose.” He raised the question that if there was nothing wrong with Delhi’s excise policy, then why was it withdrawn later? Tiwari said that BJP was already expressing apprehension that the evidence in the case could be tampered with.

“CBI will go to higher court”, Kejriwal’s counterattack

Manoj Tiwari said that this is the decision of the lower court and the Central Investigation Agency will approach the higher court. He claimed that the evidence against corruption is strong and the truth will come out in the final verdict. At the same time, Arvind Kejriwal welcomed the decision in a press conference. He said that the court has made it clear in its 600-page order that there is no concrete evidence to prosecute in this case. Kejriwal alleged that two top leaders conspired to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party. Kejriwal said, “Today he should apologize to the country. I have earned honesty, not money.” He challenged the Prime Minister to hold re-elections in Delhi and said that if BJP gets more than 10 seats, he will leave politics.

Congress also targeted

He also targeted the Congress and asked, “Did Arvind Kejriwal go to jail, did Robert Vadra go to jail? Did Sanjay Singh go to jail, did Rahul Gandhi go to jail? Did Sonia Gandhi go to jail?” He said that Congress should clarify its stand on this issue. Political analysts believe that after the court’s decision, a new debate has erupted in Delhi and national politics. While AAP is calling it a “victory of truth”, BJP is considering it as a stage of the legal process and is talking about the fight ahead.
