Prime Minister Narendra Modi on tour to Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Union Territory of Puducherry today and tomorrow. During this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 23 thousand crores. The highlights of the visit will be the country’s first indigenous semiconductor chip production and a nationwide vaccination campaign for the girl child. This information is given in the official release. Besides, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also shared today’s program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on its X handle.
According to the official release, Prime Minister Modi will gift projects worth Rs 16,680 crore on February 28 at 11:30 am in Ajmer (Rajasthan). He will launch a nationwide HPV vaccination campaign to prevent cervical cancer for 14-year-old girls. Appointment letters will be handed over to 21,800 newly appointed youth in government departments. During this time, various schemes related to Delhi-Vadodara Expressway and Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor will be inaugurated.
After this, at 3:45 pm, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Micron Technology’s ‘Semiconductor Assembly, Test and Packaging’ (ATMP) facility in Sanand (Gujarat). This is the first project sanctioned under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM). Commercial production and shipment of the first semiconductor memory module manufactured in the country will begin from here. The world’s largest ‘cleanroom’ area has been created in this factory with an investment of more than Rs 22,500 crore.
Prime Minister Modi will reach Chennai (Tamil Nadu) around 9:00 pm on Saturday night and will give impetus to the development work of South India the next day. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various infrastructure, education and healthcare projects worth up to Rs 2,700 crore on March 1 at 11:45 am (Puducherry). Will inaugurate infrastructure projects worth up to Rs 4,400 crore in Madurai and address a public meeting.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of four laning of Marakkanam-Puducherry section of NH-332A and Paramakudi-Ramanathapuram section of NH-87. He will also inaugurate eight redeveloped railway stations in Tamil Nadu. At 4 pm, the Prime Minister will offer prayers at the famous Arulmigu Subramaniam Temple (Tirupparankundram) in Madurai.
