Nifty 50 top losers this week: Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life, Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra and more
Benchmark indices ended the week under pressure, with a sharp selloff on Friday dragging markets lower. The Sensex declined 961 points to close at 81,287, while the Nifty 50 fell 318 points to settle at 25,179, slipping below the 25,200 mark. Weak sentiment was visible across sectors, with several heavyweight stocks ending the week in the red.

Among the top losers in the Nifty 50 this week, Bharti Airtel declined 5.0% on a weekly basis, closing at ₹1,879.30 after falling 2.6% in Friday’s trade. Bajaj Finserv slipped 3.2% for the week to end at ₹1,993.40, down 2.4% on the day.
HDFC Life Insurance fell 1.8% during the week, settling at ₹715.30, while Maruti Suzuki India dropped 0.8% week-on-week to close at ₹14,857.00. Mahindra & Mahindra edged lower by 0.5% over the week to finish at ₹3,397.40.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries ended the week marginally higher by 0.7% at ₹1,737.00, despite a 2.7% fall on Friday. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories gained 0.5% for the week to close at ₹1,286.30, even as it declined 2.5% in the latest session. Adani Enterprises remained largely flat on a weekly basis with a 0.1% rise, closing at ₹2,161.80 after a 2.5% drop on Friday.
Shriram Finance advanced 1.9% over the week to ₹1,079.40, while Tata Motors closed at ₹382.70, up 1.2% for the week, despite losses in the final trading session.
