The government should tell who will suffer the consequences of the days that Kejriwal and Sisodia spent in jail? Kapil Sibal attacked BJP
Delhi Excise Policy Case Row : In the Delhi Excise Policy case, Rouse Avenue Court has acquitted all the accused including AAP convenors Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia and rejected the CBI charge sheet. BJP has raised this issue loudly before the Delhi Assembly elections. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal has questioned who will bear the consequences of the time these leaders have spent in jail.

In fact, now after the acquittal of Kejriwal and Sisodia, the opposition is accusing the Modi government of misuse of central agencies. Responding to the issue, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal said in a press conference on Saturday, “…the CBI investigation is dragging on without any result. They charge whoever they want, one after the other… The investigation goes on, and people stay in jail for years. And then, of course, nothing happens in the case. What has happened in the case against Chidambaram? Nothing.”
Senior lawyer Sibal said, “On February 27, i.e. yesterday, a very important decision came. In this decision, the CBI case against the remaining 20-22 accused including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Kavita ji was considered, and the court acquitted all of them. Now we want to ask the government, who will bear the consequences of the 126 days that Arvind Kejriwal spent in jail? And Manish Sisodia. Who should bear the consequences of the 503 days he spent in jail?
