Heat will increase in North India, snowfall and rain continue in the mountains
The next few days are going to be very hot for North and Central India. According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, the temperature will gradually increase in the plains, due to which people will start feeling the heat before time in late February and early March. On the other hand, the weather is once again taking a turn in the mountains.
Due to the activity of western disturbance, there is a possibility of snowfall and light rain in the Himalayan regions, which can also affect the winds in the plains.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increase in temperature. The mercury may rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the states of North-West India in the next 7 days. Temperatures in parts like Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana are expected to be 3-5°C above normal.

Heat will also increase in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra by the end of the week. Here too the temperature may be 2-4 degrees higher than normal. Especially in some areas of Gujarat, not only heat but also humidity can trouble you on March 4 and 5.
Snowfall and rain on the mountains
There may be light rain or snowfall in the Himalayan region on February 28 and then in the Western Himalayan areas on March 3-4. A new western disturbance will become active from the night of March 2, due to which the weather will change in Jammu and Kashmir and surrounding high areas.

Weather in other parts of the country
Heavy rains have been recorded in the states of South India, especially in some parts of Tamil Nadu, which may continue for the time being. There is a possibility of sporadic drizzle with thunder and lightning in Kerala also on 28th February.
Scattered rain and lightning are expected in the hilly areas of eastern and north-eastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and West Bengal till March 1.
