IPL: Punjab Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets Gujarati
In the IPL 2025 match, Punjab Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets. The match started late due to rain and both the teams got 14-14 overs. Batting first, RCB scored 95/9 runs. Punjab won the match by scoring 98/5 runs in 12.1 overs with 11 balls remaining.
For RCB, Tim David played a brilliant inning of 50 not out in 26 balls. Captain Rajat Patidar scored 23 runs in 18 balls. Apart from him, no other batsman could even touch the double digit figure. Virat Kohli was out after scoring one run. RCB could not score big due to wickets falling at regular intervals.
For Punjab, Marco Jensen and Yuzvendra Chahal bowled brilliantly and took two wickets each. Arshdeep Singh and Harpreet Brare also took two wickets each while Xavier Bartlett took one wicket.
Nehal Vadhera scored the highest score of 33 runs for Punjab. Opener Priyansh Arya scored 16, Prabhsimran Singh scored 13 and Josh English scored 14 runs. For RCB, Jess Hazlewood took three wickets and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets. With this win, Punjab Kings has reached second position in the points table while RCB is at fourth position.
