Earbuds in ears, pistol in hand, two pieces of head… suspicious death of 22 year old ITI student in Prayagraj

Prayagraj: The death of a 22-year-old ITI student in Prayagraj due to being shot under suspicious circumstances shocked the entire area. When his body was found in a room in the school premises in the morning, there was chaos there. In the initial investigation, the case seems to be pointing towards suicide, but the police is investigating from every angle.

This case pertains to Chak Gaurishankar Neebi village of Ghurpur police station area. The deceased Sahil was a resident of Gobra Tarhar village of Lalpur police station area and his father Revati Raman Shukla is a farmer. He was studying in a private school located in the village of his uncle Laxmikant Tiwari alias Anil Tiwari. His blood soaked body was found in the school room on Friday morning.

What was found inside the room?

When the police reached the spot, Sahil was found sitting on a chair. He had a 315 bore pistol in one hand, with an empty shell stuck in it. His feet were resting on another chair in front of him and a live cartridge was also kept nearby. Marks of being shot at very close range were found on his forehead, due to which a part of Sahil’s head had come off and was lying on the ground.

Looking at the circumstances of the incident, the matter appeared serious. It was told that Sahil had ear buds in his ears. It is feared that he may have been talking to someone before the shot was fired. For this reason, the police is also investigating the mobile call details.

Police suspect suicide

As soon as information about the incident was received, ACP Kaundhiara Abdul Salam Khan reached the spot along with the police force and forensic team. The room was thoroughly examined and the forensic team collected necessary evidence. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Police say that at first sight the case looks like suicide. However, all possible aspects are being examined before reaching any conclusion. The further situation will be clear on the basis of weapon investigation, mobile records and forensic report.

A mountain of sorrow fell on the family

There is an atmosphere of mourning in Sahil’s family and village due to his untimely death. The family members are shocked by the incident and are hoping for the truth to come out. Police officials say that the investigation is being conducted in an impartial manner and further legal action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light.
