Yash prepares to create new history at the box office with Toxic

Mumbai: The trailer of South Indian cinema star Yash’s much awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups’ is going to be released soon. An official announcement has been made in this regard that the trailer will be launched on 8 March 2026 in Bengaluru. This event will be grand and invitations for it have been sent. There is tremendous excitement among the fans for this trailer and it could become an important cinematic moment of the year.

This film is the first big release for Yash after the stupendous success of the KGF franchise. Till now this film has not been promoted much, due to which the impact of its every update has been doubled. Two teasers have been released, which have been greatly appreciated by the audience. A teaser released in February 2026 received over 200 million views and #DaddyIsHome started trending.

Yash’s new sensitive and stylish look will be revealed to the audience in the trailer. This film is being directed by National Award winner Geetu Mohandas. It is a period gangster action drama, packed with elements of style, action and grandeur. Yash will be seen in a very powerful and dangerous character named ‘Raya’.

The script of the film has been jointly written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. It has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, while dubbed versions will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and English. The film stars Yash along with many leading actresses like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. It is being told that the budget of the film will be around Rs 600-700 crore, and it will be released in IMAX and Dolby Cinema. The film will release in theaters on March 19, 2026, which falls during the festive weekend of Ugadi, Gudi Padwa and Eid. In such a situation, there are possibilities of good earnings at the box office.
