CM’s announcement in Lucknow: Job opportunities abroad with government assurance
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said that the state government is working towards providing employment to skilled and trained youth in foreign countries with government assurance. He and his recent Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya Referring to foreign tours, he said that increasing investment in the state will also create new opportunities for the youth.
The Chief Minister said that the government is developing an institutional mechanism through which eligible candidates can be provided work opportunities in international companies through a secure and authentic channel. He said that if a youth in the state gets a monthly income of Rs 20 thousand and in a foreign country the same income increases to Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh, then it can bring a big change in the standard of living of his family.
Grant issued to Ujjwala beneficiaries
In the program organized at Lok Bhavan, the Chief Minister Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana Released grant amount for LPG cylinder refill to 1.86 crore women beneficiaries. He said that the Central Government provides subsidy on nine cylinders in a year, while the State Government provides additional relief on Diwali and Holi. Subsidy worth about Rs 1500 crore was transferred on this occasion.
Investment will increase opportunities
The Chief Minister said that after 2017, the investment environment in the state has changed and now companies from many countries including Germany, Japan, Singapore are exploring possibilities here. He said that this investment will not be beneficial for any one person or family, but for the entire state and its youth. This will give impetus to industrial activities and generate employment on a large scale.
Special Initiative for Women
Reiterating that the government has given priority to women empowerment, he said that it has been decided to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and Asha Sahyoginis. Besides, vaccination campaign has also been started for the health protection of girls.
During the programme, the Chief Minister distributed symbolic checks to ten women beneficiaries. Public representatives and administrative officials were present on this occasion.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the government is working with the aim of reducing social and economic inequality and the benefits of various schemes are being extended directly to the people.
