PM Modi Ajmer Visit: PM Modi gifted various development projects worth Rs 16,686 crore in Ajmer, these major changes included
Ajmer: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday handed over various development projects worth about Rs 16,686 crore of the Central and State Government from Ajmer, Rajasthan and started the HPV vaccination campaign by giving doses of HPV vaccine to girls aged nine to 14 years.
In the program, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 43 major projects worth about Rs 16,686 crore in various sectors including urban development, drinking water supply, roads, railways, irrigation, energy and industrial infrastructure. Of these projects, 34 projects worth approximately Rs 8,554 crore belong to various departments of the state government.

These departments include urban development, public health and engineering, public works, energy, water resources and industry etc. Apart from this, nine major projects worth about Rs 8,132 crore related to national highways and energy will also be inaugurated and foundation stone laid. Of these projects, the foundation stone of two was laid and seven were inaugurated. The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of National Highway projects worth more than Rs 4,516 crore. These projects include four-lane Greenfield Expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur at a cost of approximately Rs 1,207 crore, eight-lane carriageway from NH 76 Junction to Umedpura village on NH 12 in Package 14 section of Delhi-Vadodara Access Controlled Greenfield Expressway and expansion, strengthening and widening of National Highways across the state.
Similarly, in Jaipur, the foundation stone of the elevated road from Sanganer flyover to Malpura Gate via Chowria Petrol Pump at a cost of more than Rs 286 crore, a four-lane elevated road from Mahamandir to Akhlya intersection in Jodhpur city at a cost of Rs 1,243 crore and the Malbamori-Mangrol-Baran state highway at an estimated cost of Rs 322 crore in Baran district was also laid. Taking a step towards his resolve of clean and safe drinking water, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of four packages of Nonera Mega Drinking Water Project costing more than Rs 1,021 crore and five packages of Parwan Akvad Mega Drinking Water Project costing Rs 2,247 crore.
The Prime Minister inaugurated a transmission system worth Rs 3,616 crore for smooth transmission of electricity from major centers of renewable energy generation in Rajasthan. Also laid the foundation stone of five 220 KV and two 400 KV Grid Sub-Stations (GSS). The foundation stone of various works related to infrastructure and drinking water supply was also laid in Jodhpur Pali Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA) to promote industrial development, investment and employment generation in the western part of Rajasthan.
