Vijay Deverakonda shares emotional experience of meeting PM Modi

Mumbai: After the marriage of famous South Indian cinema actor Vijay Deverakonda and his wife Rashmika Mandanna, a new good news has now become a topic of discussion. Both of them recently met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, pictures of which went viral on social media. Soon after the marriage, Vijay shared information about this special meeting on his X account and also shared a very emotional post.

Vijay and Rashmika tied the knot on 26 February 2026 in a private and intimate ceremony in Udaipur. The event took place in the presence of close family members and friends. Both of them shared the good news to their fans by sharing their wedding photos on Instagram. Now, the two are going to host a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4, which is going to be attended by many famous faces.

Vijay wrote about this meeting, ‘A few days ago we met Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and took his blessings. We had a great time discussing history, architecture and stories and he wrote a very lovely letter to my parents. Vijay told that this experience was very special for him and PM Modi gave him a lot of love and best wishes.

Regarding the meeting with Amit Shah, Vijay said, ‘We also met Honorable Home Minister Amit Shah and had an excellent conversation on culture and cinema. He gifted us a beautiful Ganesha idol, which is now kept in our puja room.

This meeting took place on 21 February

According to reports, the meeting took place on February 21 in Delhi before the wedding, where both of them had personally invited PM Modi and Amit Shah for their wedding and reception. During this, Rashmika was seen in yellow salwar suit and Vijay in white outfit. He presented shawls and other gifts to PM Modi, while presented a silver Ganesh idol to Amit Shah.

PM Modi wrote a letter to both the families to congratulate them on their marriage and wish them a good future. This meeting has been special for the fans, because both Vijay and Rashmika are one of the leading actors of South Cinema.
