A simple sidewalk, stripped of fancy showrooms and bright showcases, has turned into a makeshift gold market that draws in passersby.

In a video circulating on social media, a vendor lays out a simple tarp and pours piles of gold directly onto the sidewalk for customers to browse freely. The scene resembles a newly discovered treasure trove, with golden items laid out in rows drawing curious onlookers. Without entering a store, people squat on the pavement to pick through pieces of gold as if they were at a street market.

The wares include imitation gold intended for entertainment and low-cost jewelry. At a time when gold prices fluctuate unpredictably, the sight of gold scattered casually across a sidewalk has amused many online. Some joked they would buy a few pieces on the God of Wealth Day for good luck.
