Forest guard caught in romance with girlfriend on duty, youths beat him up and made him dance
The romance of a forest guard while on duty in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh has gone viral on social media. This incident of February 23 happened in Devnagar beat of Surajpur Kotwali area of Ambikapur. A guard named Sukhdev Pankra, a resident of Maheshpur of Latori outpost, was busy in lovemaking with a girl in the nursery.
The girl’s relatives came to know about this. They caught the guard on the spot and beat him severely. It is clearly visible in the video that the guard is pleading to leave, but the youth abuses him and beats him with a belt. Not only this, they also forced her to dance by playing a song on her mobile.
After the beating, the youth chased away the guard and sent the girl home. The surprising thing is that despite being the victim of attack in uniform, Sukhdev neither complained to the police station nor informed the forest department.
As soon as this video went viral, Surajpur DFO DP Sahu issued a notice to the guard and sought their reply. He has asked why the department was not informed about this incident. This case exposes the negligence of forest personnel on duty. People are discussing this on social media and demanding departmental action. It will be further investigated in the coming days.
