In these raids, Delhi Police has arrested 27 accused of cyber fraud. According to Delhi Police, it has uncovered 10 major cases of cyber fraud in these operations. These cases also include cyber fraud of more than Rs 1.5 crore. According to Delhi Police, it has detected transactions worth about Rs 14 crore in the bank accounts of the arrested accused.

According to Delhi Police, 25 mobile phones, 28 SIM cards, 20 debit cards, POS machines, bank documents etc. have been recovered from the accused of cyber fraud. Cyber ​​​​thugs caught by Delhi Police used to cheat people by pretending to invest, through WhatsApp and Instagram, on the pretext of giving credit cards and by creating APK files. West District Cyber ​​Cell of Delhi Police, while investigating three cases of cyber fraud, identified so many accused. After which it reached Delhi, Maharashtra, UP, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, and West Bengal.

Let us tell you that cases of cyber fraud are happening continuously. The Supreme Court had also expressed concern in this matter. During the hearing of cyber fraud cases including digital arrest in the Supreme Court, the Home Ministry had said that the cases of cyber fraud have increased 8 times in the last five years. The Home Ministry had told the court that cyber fraudsters have so far siphoned off more than Rs 55,000 crore from people’s bank accounts. The Supreme Court had asked the CBI to investigate cases of cyber fraud including digital arrest. PM Narendra Modi himself had warned against cyber fraud in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. Apart from this, the Central Government and the Reserve Bank have also been warning people about cyber fraud by giving advertisements on social media and newspapers and TV channels.
