Mahindra Automotive, in order to push the sales of its flagship electric SUV, the XEV 9E, has officially unveiled a new special edition. It is called the XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition, which is a more premium iteration of the already premium XEV 9E coupe electric SUV. The XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs 29.35 lakh.

The Mahindra XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition is based on the top-of-the-line Pack Three variant of this SUV, which gets the 79 kWh battery pack. Bookings for the XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition will commence on March 2, and deliveries will start from March 10.
What’s new?
Now coming to the unique elements offered with this SUV, on the outside, it will be getting two exclusive paint options, namely Satin Black and Satin White. Satin color options give any vehicle a premium appearance, and the XEV 9E, which already looks very premium, will look even better in these two colors.
As for the changes that will be seen inside the cabin of the Mahindra XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition, it will come equipped with smooth-grain leatherette upholstery finished in Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black. According to the company, with the Cineluxe Edition, it has focused on surface detailing, texture refinement, and premium tactile quality.
Mahindra has also introduced new tech features in the XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition. It will come with special HVAC modes, including Camp mode, Keep mode, and PawPal mode. The Camp mode will support stationary use, Keep mode will maintain cabin conditions, and PawPal mode is for pet safety and comfort.
Apart from these, it will also get a digital key feature, which will enable keyless access through digital authentication, Secure 360 Pro, and personalized user profiles. Different drivers will now be able to save their personalized seat settings, ambient lighting preferences, and display configurations.
Other notable highlights of this SUV include the massive panoramic screen system, which extends from one end to the other. It comprises three interconnected 31.24 cm screens at the front: one in front of the driver, which is the digital instrument gauge cluster; then there is the central infotainment screen; and lastly, one in front of the front passenger.
Apart from these, it will come equipped with MAIA – Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture. It will include the super-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor with 24 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, Mahindra VisionX augmented reality HUD, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, panoramic glass roof, ADAS Level 2+, 360-degree camera, and autopark.
Powertrain details
As the XEV 9E Cineluxe Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant, it will come with the 79 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 656 km on a single full charge. With the 175 kW DC fast charger, the XEV 9E can be charged from 20–80 percent in just 20 minutes.
Powering this EV SUV will be an electric motor capable of producing 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Mahindra is also offering the new Cineluxe Edition XEV 9E with custom drive modes. It will allow drivers to personalize the driving dynamics of the vehicle according to their needs.
