March 2 or 3? Know the exact date and auspicious time of Holika Dahan
Preparations for Holi have started across the country. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about this festival celebrated on the holy occasion of Phalgun Purnima. According to tradition, Holi is a festival of two days, in which Holika is lit with the help of wood and cakes in the evening on the first day and happiness is celebrated with colors and gulal on the next day.
According to the Panchang, this time the Purnima Tithi will start from the evening of March 2 and will continue till the evening of March 3. In view of the recognition of Udaya Tithi, the main program of Holika Dahan will be conducted on March 3, after which Dhulendi i.e. Holi of colors will be played the next day on March 4.

Auspicious time for Holika Dahan

- Date: 3 March 2026
- Puja Timings: 06:22 PM to 08:50 PM.
- Bhadra Timings: On this day, Bhadra Poonch will be from 01:25 to 02:35 in the night and Bhadra Mukh will be from 02:35 to 04:30 in the morning.
