Tata Taigo EV Facelift: To strengthen its grip on the Indian Electric Vehicle (EV) market, TATA Motors will introduce its most affordable electric hatchback, the Tiago EV, with new updates. The car is likely to be launched by the end of 2026 or during the festive season. TATA Motors is gearing up to launch a new model of its most popular electric car, the Tiago EV. The company is working on its facelift. Recently, the new Tiago EV was spotted testing the car. From this car, it can be seen that the new Tiago EV will be more stylish and modern than before. A new and powerful look
Tata’s Tiago EV model spotted during testing is likely to get a lot of exterior design changes.
New LED Lights – The front of the car can be swapped between new LED lights and stylish DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). Most notably, the new Tiago EV will feature a company-fitted electric sunroof. Which will give a luxury feeling. 360-degree camera will be in this car. The car’s side mirrors could be larger than before, which means it can also get 360-degree cameras for all-round surveillance. Along with this, the car can also get new design alloy wheels.
Premium Cabine
Car interiors can now be more luxurious than ever. The car will feature a large touchscreen and fully digital instrument cluster. Like other Tata cars, the new Tiago EV model will also get a new two-spoke steering wheel. Apart from that, the new Tiago EV will also include features like wireless charging and improved connected car technology.
Longer range and bigger battery
Currently, the Tiago EV comes with two battery options. There are two battery options, 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. which gives a real world range of approximately 170 to 200 km. The upcoming new Tiago EV is expected to have a bigger battery. The new Tiago may have a 30 kWh battery, which was seen in the recently launched Punch EV. This new battery can extend the car’s real-world range by over 265 kilometers.
When will it be launched?
TATA Motor is expected to launch the new TATA Motors by the end of this year, i.e. by 2026. Tata is gearing up to launch two more electric vehicles this year, the Sierra EV and the Tata Avinya.
