Inside Laiba Khan’s love story with husband Jawad

Television star Laiba Khan has opened up about her recent marriage and the criticism she faced from the public. The actress, known for hit dramas such as Kaffara, Mohra, and Aas Paas, tied the knot with her long-time partner Jawad. The couple has been together since 2022 and officially Nikkahfied in 2024 in Madinah Munawwarah.

Speaking on Shan e Suhoor with Nida Yasir, Laiba shared details about her husband and their journey together. She revealed that Jawad first reached out to her in 2019 through a mutual contact. At the time, she ignored him, but he continued sending birthday wishes every year. They finally met at an event in 2022, and their relationship blossomed from there. Jawad later proposed, and her parents approved.

Laiba highlighted that her husband is a self-made businessman in the pharmacy sector. He has worked various jobs in the USA, including driving a taxi, before establishing his own business. She praised him for his dedication to his family and his supportive nature, saying that these qualities drew her to him.

She also mentioned Jawad’s respect and humility, noting that he never behaved presumptuously despite being her fan. “He has always supported his family, and I knew he would be the same with his future wife,” she said. For Jawad, Laiba’s honesty and integrity were the qualities that assured him she was the right life partner.

Laiba became emotional while addressing the backlash surrounding her marriage. She said she was hurt by the negative comments aimed at her, her husband, and her family. “A wedding is a special day for a girl, but the harsh words and criticism made it difficult for me to enjoy it,” she explained.

She credited her friend Emaan Khan for helping her stay positive. “Emaan scolded me when I was upset and reminded me to enjoy my big day without worrying about gossip or criticism,” Laiba shared. With her support, Laiba was able to celebrate her wedding joyfully despite the public scrutiny
