RSS For UP Assembly Election: RSS took the lead to ensure BJP victory for the third consecutive time in UP Assembly elections! Mohan Bhagwat visits Lucknow for the second time in 15 days.
Lucknow. UP assembly elections are scheduled to be held in 2027. BJP government was formed in UP in 2017. Then BJP formed the government in UP in 2022 also. Now BJP is trying to capture power in UP for the third time. There is every hope that RSS will also join in BJP’s attempt to gain power in UP for the third consecutive time. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has again reached Lucknow. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is visiting Lucknow for the second time in 15 days. After the meeting in Lucknow, Mohan Bhagwat will go to Delhi. In such a situation, it seems that RSS has already taken charge of forming the BJP government in UP for the third time.
When RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat came to Lucknow on February 18, he had a meeting with CM Yogi Adityanath and UP’s Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak. Earlier, Bhagwat had gone to Gorakhpur. Mohan Bhagwat has not only gone to Lucknow and Gorakhpur. Mohan Bhagwat also visited Meerut in February 2026. Overall, Mohan Bhagwat has visited UP 4 times in the last 21 days. Mohan Bhagwat’s visit is important because the main opposition party in UP, Samajwadi Party, has raised the slogan of ‘PDA’ i.e. Backward, Dalit and Minority Alliance. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Samajwadi Party had given a big blow to BJP by giving the slogan of PDA.

At the same time, CM Yogi Adityanath’s slogan is ‘If you divide, you will be divided’. Whereas, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has been continuously talking about the unity of Hindus and ending casteism. There are 403 seats in the UP Assembly. At least 202 seats are required to form the government. The population of Dalits in UP is about 22 percent. There are 32 lakh voters from the Dalit community in UP and they decide victory and defeat on 150 seats. Most of the population of Dalit voters is in Western UP, Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. At the same time, the number of OBC voters in UP is 40 to 45 percent. Of these, most of the voters of Yadav community are considered to be in the camp of Samajwadi Party. In such a situation, if BJP wants to form the government for the third time in UP, then it will have to win over Dalit voters in its fold. At the same time, BSP supremo Mayawati, who does politics of Dalits, is once again seen playing a bet on Brahmin and other upper caste voters. Mayawati had formed the government in UP in 2007 with Brahmins in her side.
