The Indian women’s team was trailing in the series by 2-0. All the fans were hoping that Team India would be successful in saving its honor by winning the last match. However, Australia rubbed salt on Team India’s wounds by defeating them by 185 runs. Indian women’s team swept the ODI series 3-0.

Australia won the third ODI match

The Australian women’s team, batting first in the third ODI in Hobart, scored a big score of 409 runs. Alyssa Healy, playing her last ODI series, played a brilliant inning of 158 runs. Georgia Wall scored 62 runs, while Beth Mooney scored 106 runs. It was not easy for Team India to achieve the target of 410 runs and they failed miserably.

Smriti Mandhana returned to the pavilion on zero. Jemimah Rodrigues scored 42 runs and Sneh Rana also played an inning of 44 runs but wickets kept falling at frequent intervals. For this reason, Team India was all out after scoring 224 runs in 45.1 overs. With this, Australia registered a big victory by 185 runs. For Australia, Alana King took 4 wickets and Georgia Wareham took 2 wickets. The Kangaroo team captured the series 3-0.

Team India would like to take revenge by winning the test match

India defeated Australia in the T20 series in their own home. In response, the Australian team gave a crushing defeat to the Indian women’s team in ODI. Both have won one series each. Now a test match is going to be held between the women’s teams of India and Australia from 6th March. This will be a day-night test match. Team India won the T20 series and Kangaroo team was successful in winning the ODI series.
