The Indian team has entered the semi-finals by chasing the biggest run in its T20 World Cup history. The Caribbean team had scored 195 runs, which India easily achieved in 19.2 overs thanks to Sanju Samson’s record-breaking inning of 97 not out.
Sanju Samson has become the batsman who played the biggest innings for India while chasing the target in the T20 World Cup. He has broken the record of Virat Kohli, who had played unbeaten innings of 82-82 runs twice. Sanju faced 50 balls in his innings and hit 12 fours and 4 sixes.
India will face England in the semi-finals
Team India will now face England in the semi-final match. This match will be played on March 5 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
