Minister Ashok Choudhary announced to donate his body on Nitish’s birthday.
On the 75th birthday of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar Minister Dr. Ashok Chaudhary donated blood and took a pledge to donate his body after death. He also appealed to the youth for active participation in social service.
Bihar News: On the occasion of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s 75th birthday, Bihar Rural Affairs Minister Dr. Ashok Chaudhary took an inspiring step in the interest of society. After donating blood, he took a pledge to donate his entire body after death. Through this initiative, the Minister gave a big message of humanitarian service to the society and inspired people to sacrifice their lives.
Dr. Ashok Choudhary submitted the resolution letter to Dadhichi Dead Donation Committee. In this letter he clearly wrote that after his death he wants to donate his eyes, organs and entire body in the service of humanity. After this he filled all his information in the form and got it officially registered.
Organization of blood donation camp
On the birthday of the Chief Minister, Dr. Ashok Chaudhary also organized a blood donation camp at his residence on Polo Road, Patna. A large number of people participated in this camp and donated blood. The minister himself encouraged the blood donors and appealed to the youth to come forward for social service.
Dr. Chaudhary said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not only active in politics, but has also been deeply associated with social concerns. He started many welfare programs like Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali campaign, abolition of dowry system, children suffering from congenital heart disease and children suffering from thalassemia and cancer.
The Minister also informed that Maa Vaishnodevi Blood Bank was inaugurated by the Chief Minister himself and he also became its first blood donor. This blood bank provides free blood to patients suffering from thalassemia.
Health benefits of blood donation
Dr. Ashok Chaudhary said that donating blood does not weaken the body. On the contrary, it reduces cholesterol in the body and prevents many diseases. He especially appealed to people with rare blood groups to donate blood regularly.
The Minister said that initiatives like blood donation and body donation are very important to make the society healthy and sensitive. The youth should participate actively in this so that the needy can be helped and the feeling of service can be spread in the society.
Importance of body donation after death
Emphasizing the importance of donating one’s body after death, Dr. Chaudhary said that it is equivalent to donating one’s life. Many people lose the last battle of life due to lack of organs or accidents, but body donation can make their life a new beginning for someone else. He said that it is very important to make the society aware about this and motivate people.
While sharing his experience, the Minister said that the process of taking resolution and filling the form is simple and it benefits the society a lot. He urged people to also tell their family and friends about the importance of body donation and motivate them to participate in it.
Appeal to youth to actively participate in social service
Dr. Ashok Choudhary told the youth that social service is not the work of only big people. Youth should utilize their energy and time and participate in initiatives like blood donation and body donation.
