Is son Nishant’s entry confirmed in politics on Nitish Kumar’s birthday? JDU gave a big signal
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s birthday was much talked about on Sunday. On this day, a strong demand was raised in Janata Dal United (JDU) regarding the entry of his only son Nishant Kumar into politics. Many big leaders of the party are openly talking about Nishant coming into active politics soon. At the same time, Nishant himself was seen quite active on his father’s birthday.
Nishant’s presence from temple to CM residence
Nishant Kumar went to the famous Mahavir Temple in Patna on Sunday morning and worshiped Bajrang Bali. After this he directly reached the Chief Minister’s residence located at 1 Anne Marg. Here he wished Nitish Kumar on his birthday by touching his feet and offered Prasad of Mahavir Temple. During this time, Nishant’s presence again intensified the discussion in political circles about his future.
Open demand of JDU leaders
JDU working president Sanjay Jha clearly said in a program that most of the party workers and leaders want the Chief Minister’s son Nishant to come into politics and join JDU. He stressed that the final decision will be taken by Nitish Kumar himself, but the demand for it is very strong in the party.
JDU’s ally Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha also wished Nitish on his birthday and said that Nishant should get a chance. He said that since Nitish is the Chief Minister, he will also decide on this matter.
Nishant’s name on Rajya Sabha seats?
5 Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar are going to become vacant and the election process has started. JDU is likely to get at least 2 seats on the basis of numbers. Meanwhile, there are reports that Nishant can be sent to Rajya Sabha. However, no party leader has confirmed this and most are denying it, calling it a rumour.
Nishant’s increasing activism since the elections
Nishant Kumar has remained away from politics till now, but since last year’s Bihar Assembly elections, he has started appearing in public programs. Many times posters of handing over the command of JDU to Nishant have been put up in Patna. Due to this, speculations about his political debut are continuously increasing.
It is clear from Nishant’s activism on Nitish Kumar’s birthday and the statements of party leaders that preparations for his entry into politics have intensified. Now everyone’s eyes are on Nitish Kumar’s decision.
