Police route march in Sitapur before Holi, Ramzan and Eid, appeal to maintain peace
Police took out a flag march on Sunday (March 1) to ensure peaceful conduct of festivals in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. This route march took place under the leadership of Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Zone Kiran S. District Magistrate Dr. Rajganapati R was also present with him. The administration gave a clear message that any kind of rumor or disturbance will not be tolerated during Holi, Ramzan and Eid. People were appealed to celebrate the festival with brotherhood and cooperation.
Conversations with businessmen and religious leaders
This route march was taken out with police force in Mohalla Kajiara of Kotwali Nagar area. During this, senior police and district administration officials met local businessmen and religious leaders. The officials appealed to everyone to maintain mutual respect, harmony and peace. He said that the administration is keeping an eye on every situation and strict action will be taken against those creating any kind of disturbance. On this occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police North Alok Singh and Area Officer City Vinayak Bhosale and other officers were also present.
