Protest over Khamenei’s assassination in Srinagar, CM Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the death of Iranian Supreme Leader

Srinagar demonstration against Khamenei Death : There is strong protest in India also over the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the attack by America and Israel. Kashmiri Shia Muslims demonstrated at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir against the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Meanwhile, state CM Omar Abdullah has expressed grief over Khamenei’s death.

“The Chief Minister has expressed deep concern over the developments in Iran, including the news of the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He has appealed to all communities to remain calm, maintain peace and avoid any action that could lead to tension or unrest. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of J&K residents, including students, currently in Iran,” the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister’s Office said in an X Post. Working closely with the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India.

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Shia cleric Maulana Yasoob Abbas said on Khamenei’s assassination, “We are not afraid of martyrdom… Iran has told America and Israel in strong words that such a befitting reply will be given that they will always remember it… The world will see the end of both countries…” Shia cleric Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad said, “We have declared three days of mourning, and asked people to close their shops and businesses. We should give, but we should not put pressure on anyone… This is a big loss for humanity… We will take out a candlelight march at 8 pm tonight.”
