The business end of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is on the horizon as the knockouts begin on March 4. After 52 matches across the group stage and Super 8 round, the four semi-finalist positions have been sealed.

From Group 1 of the Super 8 round, South Africa and India advanced to the semi-finals, with the Proteas remaining the only unbeaten team in the competition. England and New Zealand progressed to the semis from Group 2 of the Super 8.

The first semi-final will be played between South Africa and New Zealand in Kolkata on March 4, and the India vs England semi-final will take place on March 5 in Mumbai. The final is scheduled on March 8 in Ahmedabad.

Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan is the leading run-scorer of the T20 World Cup 2026 at the end of the Super 8. Farhan scored 383 runs to become the highest run-scorer at any edition of the men’s T20 World Cup. He achieved this with the help of two fifties and two hundreds, although Pakistan failed to reach the semi-finals.

Farhan is followed by Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett, who finished his competition with 292 runs and was dismissed only twice in six innings.
