Threat of war in West Asia: Nepal formed emergency relief team for diplomatic strategy

Giving priority to the safety of its citizens, the Government of Nepal has decided to form a vital emergency relief team. Nepal’s active initiative
Amidst the continuously deteriorating security situation in West Asia, the Government of Nepal has increased its vigilance and is gearing up to deal with future challenges. Expressing deep concern over the situation arising in West Asia, the Ministry of External Affairs has appealed to follow international rules and maintain peace. Nepal believes that differences should be resolved only through diplomacy and dialogue to maintain stability in the region.
Formation of emergency team
The Nepal government has formed a high-level emergency relief team under the chairmanship of Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai which will monitor the situation. This team will perform the important task of preparing a comprehensive relief strategy based on the changing war conditions in West Asia. The government has also clarified that all its citizens currently living in the Gulf countries are completely safe and in constant touch.
Iran’s retaliation
Following the death of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards launched ‘Operation Truthful Promise 4’ Major attacks have been started under.
