Newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, who tied the knot on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, are set to host an intimate wedding reception for close family members and celebrities in Hyderabad on March 4.

Days ahead of the reception, the couple visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in Hyderabad on Sunday to seek blessings. Vijay’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, accompanied them during the temple visit.

The couple looked stunning in traditional attire. Rashmika radiated in a golden saree that she paired with a green silk blouse, and accessorised with sleek gold jewellery, dewy makeup, a gajra-adorned hairstyle, and Vijay in a white kurta, beige pants, and a red shawl.

Several viral clips captured Vijay holding his wifey Rashmika close and guiding her through the crowd as the couple got mobbed by fans at the temple.

Rashmika waved to devotees and also thanked them when they extended wishes to the newlyweds. The couple also participated in Annadanam, distributing sweets to devotees and fans.

On Saturday, the couple announced on social media that they would share their joy with fans nationwide. Trucks filled with sweets and food were sent on March 1 to over 40 cities across India, including Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar, Karimnagar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Noida, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Jaipur, Vizag, Vijayawada, Puttaparthi, Kochi, Mysore, Coorg, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Pondicherry.

They wrote, “To the beautiful people of this country, you have always been part of our journeys and our love. It would make us truly happy to celebrate our wedding with all of you. And how does India celebrate everything? With mithai and food. So on March 1st, we are sending trucks filled with love and sweets across the country to share this big moment in our lives with all of you. And we will be doing Annadanam in multiple temples across the country. Seeking all your blessings 🙂 With love, Vijay & Rashmika.”

A statement from the couple’s team read, “The ‘Virosh’ wedding has become one of the most celebrated occasions in the country, drawing immense love and attention. Following the intimate wedding ceremony, the reception is scheduled for the evening of March 4 in Hyderabad. Originally planned as a highly exclusive, invite-only gathering for the film fraternity and distinguished leaders, the guest list has now been further restricted based on safety and administrative advice.”

The note added, “Police officials have advised tighter controls to prevent public gatherings, traffic congestion, and safety risks. Entry will be strictly limited to guests with valid invitations. Vijay and Rashmika extend heartfelt gratitude to their fans for the overwhelming love and request cooperation in keeping this celebration safe and joyful.”

The wedding was a closely guarded affair with only family and close friends. Pre-wedding festivities included a cricket match between the bride and groom’s families, a Japanese-themed dinner, and a poolside gathering with traditional South Indian touches such as meals on banana leaves and coconut water. Strict no-phone rules were enforced, and NDAs were signed by the photography team.
