Female trainers mandatory for girls in UP, CM Yogi gave instructions to check all gyms

Yogi Adityanath, adopting a strict stance regarding law and order and social security, has given clear instructions to the officials that a comprehensive investigation of all the gyms in the state should be done. He said that the safety of women should be given top priority in every gym and it should be ensured that availability of female trainers is mandatory for female members. The Chief Minister gave these instructions to the officials during the review meeting held at the Circuit House Auditorium in Varanasi.

What did CM Yogi say to the officials?

This order of the Chief Minister has come at a time when a serious case of alleged religious conversion under the guise of a gym had come to light in a neighboring district of Varanasi. In this case, the police have arrested many accused including a constable and sent them to jail. During the investigation it also came to light that some gyms were being used for illegal activities. Taking this incident seriously, the Chief Minister asked the officials to verify all the gyms and ensure immediate strict action if any illegal activity is found.

While reviewing the law and order situation, the Chief Minister also gave clear guidelines regarding religious events. He said that all religious programs should be organized only in the premises of the respective religious places. No permission will be given to start new traditions in public places or organize religious events without permission. He said that this will help in maintaining social harmony and preventing any possible dispute.

Emphasis on security and vigilance in the meeting

In view of the upcoming festivals, special emphasis was also laid on security and vigilance in the meeting. The Chief Minister directed the officials to completely ban the sale of illicit liquor during festivals. He said that the sale of poisonous liquor poses a threat to people’s lives, hence the police and administration should keep special vigil on it. He clarified that if negligence is found at any level, strict action will be taken against the concerned officials.

The Chief Minister also made road safety and traffic system the main topic of the meeting. He said that the problem of illegal parking of vehicles and encroachment on the roads should be taken seriously. This not only affects traffic but also increases the risk of accidents. He directed the officers to regularly organize meetings related to road safety and make people aware about traffic rules.
