In the pre-open itself, BSE fell by 3.38 percent and Sensex fell by 2,743 points and came to the level of 78,543. Apart from BSE, Nifty 50 also fell by more than 500 points and fell below 24,659. At the same time, after the huge fall in the pre-open session, a little improvement was seen in the market. At present, Nifty 50 has also recovered from lower levels and it has now fallen by 273 points, which is 1.09% percent. At present Nifty was trading at the level of 24,905.
Investors lost Rs 6 lakh crore
Investors suffered losses on Monday (02 March) due to huge fall in the stock market (Nifty and Sensex). A sharp decline was also seen in BSE market cap. Before the market closed on Friday, BSE market cap was at Rs 463.50 lakh crore. As soon as the market opened on Monday, it came down to Rs 457.50 lakh. According to market experts, investors lost Rs 6 lakh crore due to this.
Impact visible from America to Asia
The impact of the ongoing war between Israel and Iran was clearly visible in the stock markets of most countries. There was a decline in the stock markets from America to India. In this episode, Japan’s Nikkei fell by 1.5 percent. Similar was the situation with Hang Seng of Hong Kong. A decline of up to 1.68 percent was recorded. Experts say that Tuesday is a holiday for Holi festival in Rusher market. Due to this, there is also expiry of Nifty, due to which more fluctuations may be seen in the market.
