PM Modi On Middle East Tension: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is currently visiting India, this visit of Mark Carney is special in many ways. During his visit, he met PM Modi in Delhi, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed a joint press conference with Mark Carney.
Several agreements have been signed between Canada and India, including cooperation in the field of critical minerals. An agreement has been reached on long-term uranium supply in the civil nuclear energy sector. Under the agreement, Canada will supply uranium to India. The two countries will also work together on Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and advanced reactor technology. Along with this, both the leaders also discussed the current situation in West Asia.

Addressing the press conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘India’s stand on the many ongoing tensions in the world is clear, we have always called for maintaining peace and stability, and when two democratic countries stand together, the voice of peace becomes even stronger. The current situation in West Asia is a matter of deep concern for us.

PM Modi further said that India supports dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all disputes. We will continue to work closely with all countries in the region to ensure the safety of all Indian citizens.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken on phone to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and has assured both the countries of standing together. PM Modi also shared this information on his social media handle. Posting on social media platform X, PM Modi writes that he had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the regional situation. Conveyed India’s concerns over recent developments and described the safety of civilians as the top priority. India reiterated the need for an early cessation of hostilities.
