On this occasion, Amritanshu Bhattacharya, Managing Editor & Business Head, TV9 Bangla asserts, “In this day-long conclavewe have tried to highlight which issues should be emphasized in an election and on which issues the election stands. As a news medium, it is perhaps our responsibility to showcase the pillars. The main pillar is – we, the common people who vote. How aware we are about what our demands? How much we can make political parties think? As a news medium, it is our responsibility to provide you with resources. That’s why we have today’s conclave. We started with the judiciary panel. If you look, today, all political activities start and end with the judiciary. They go to court to decide whether a procession or meeting will be held. Sometimes it seems that at this moment, the court is the last hope for the political parties. Whether it’s a good advertisement for political parties or not, that only political parties can say. Apart from this, a new group of young politicians are emerging. Our expectation is that those who are from the new generation, they will become the new brand in Indian Politics as they think little differently outside of conventional thoughts and ideas. Then maybe our future days will be different. We have kept a separate women’s panel because today, we consider women as equal power. But ultimately, somewhere, it seems that women become a vote bank or a target. In recent times, we have seen that religion has entered politics. Religion has become a very important pillar in this political change or thinking. With this Mega Conclave throughout the day, and we will try to understand What Bengal Thinks Today”
As Bengal decides its destiny for the next 5 years, TV9 Bangla What Bengal Thinks Today will stage the state’s most definitive, comprehensive & Biggest Conclave.
