Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 17 after his health suddenly deteriorated. 90-year-old Salim Khan suffered a mild brain hemorrhage, after which he was immediately put on ventilator support. The next day doctors performed a minor surgery. Now according to the hospital administration, his condition is stable and he is slowly recovering.

Salman’s big decision considering his father’s health

Keeping in mind his father’s health, Salman Khan has decided to change the shooting location of his film Battle of Galwan. Now the film will be shot at Mehboob Studio in Film City, which is very close to the hospital. With this, Salman will be able to go to the hospital from time to time and meet his father during the shooting.

Work continues, responsibility also fulfilled

Currently, Salman is busy shooting for a big song of the film. There is a large number of artists and technical team involved in this song, so it was not possible to stop the shooting. In such a situation, by deciding to change the studio, Salman has struck a balance between work and family. He is in constant touch with doctors and family and is keeping an eye on his father’s health.

Film based on the story of Galwan Valley

‘Battle of Galwan’ is based on the Galwan Valley incident of June 2020. In the film, Salman Khan plays the role of Param Vir Chakra winner B. Santosh Babu, who led the Indian soldiers at that time. The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Earlier this film was scheduled to release on 17 April 2026, but now there is news that its release may be postponed till August 2026. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers yet.

Possibility of clash at the box office

If the film releases in August 2026, it may compete with Sunny Deol’s film Lahore 1947, which is scheduled for release on 13 August 2026. At present, it is a matter of relief that Salim Khan’s health is improving and Salman Khan is fulfilling both the responsibilities of family and profession very well.
