Due to the ongoing tension and conflict in the Middle East, flights there have been cancelled, hence they are not able to return to India. Emmy has written openly on social media. He says that whenever there is talk of unrest there in the news, it is no longer just news for him. It becomes a very personal and painful thing for them, because their own people are there.

One thing about his younger daughter made him cry the most. While chatting, the daughter said, ‘Papa, if something scary happens, I will hide under my bed. Don’t worry, I’m very brave. It is heartbreaking for any parent to hear such a thing from a small child.
