MWC 2026: The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 begins today in Barcelona. The event has started with a bang and companies have started introducing their unique gadgets at the event. Tech company HONOR has launched its new flagship foldable HONOR Magic V6 at an event. The company has introduced this 5G fold phone with the tagline Unfold the Real Magic. This Phone Launched with many world-first features and industry-leading specifications. The company claims that the phone offers ultra-thin design, powerful performance and better battery life.

Ultra-slim design

HONOR Magic V6 features an ultra-slim design. The thickness of this phone is only 8.75 mm. It is the thinnest foldable phone ever. The device is powered by a 6660mAh battery, which is based on the company’s silicon-carbon battery technology. The energy density of its battery is said to be up to 921Wh/L. (Photo Courtesy – X)

Not only this but HONOR has also used many high quality materials and certifications to make this phone durable. The phone comes with 500,000 folds SGS high-quality durability certification, HONOR Super Steel (2800MPa) based hinge, 44% stronger UTG glass and HONOR anti-scratch nanocrystal shield. Apart from this, the phone has IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust protection with SGS 5-Star drop and screen anti-impact rating.

Peak brightness and chipset

The Magic V6 features two premium LTPO 2.0 AMOLED displays, where you get dynamic refresh rate support of 1 to 120Hz. The cover display is 6.52 inches, where HDR peak brightness of up to 6000 nits is provided. The main foldable display is 7.95 inches, which offers 5000 nits HDR peak brightness. This means you can see the screen very clearly even in the sun. HONOR Magic V6 is the world’s first foldable device, powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) chipset. Along with this, Adreno 840 GPU is provided in this phone. This means, you get smooth multitasking, fast AI processing and console-level graphics in the device.

HONOR Magic V6 Camera Features

HONOR has made no compromises in photography in the phone. The device has a 64MP telephoto sensor (1/2-inch). The foldable phone has the highest megapixel camera. Along with this, the device also features CIPA 6.5 stabilization, a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The phone’s AiMAGE color engine can adjust white balance depending on the scene, resulting in more natural colors. The company describes it as more accurate on stage than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The company has not yet given any information about the price of this phone.
