‘Rang Barse…’, the real joy of swinging is in the syrup, if you don’t make it like this, the fun is gone!
The morning of Dole means Abir and the fair of colors. But the Bengali Dol Utsav (Holi 2026) is not limited to playing with colors. On this special day, special drinks are needed to make the conversation more lively. And at the very top of that list is Bhaner Sherbat. It is as if the joy is completely incompatible without the sharbat of the swing day. But how to make this syrup? find out
What materials are needed?
The process of making bhen sharbat is not very difficult. But the right size of material is required. Milk, can water, cashew nuts, peanuts, makha sandesh, sugar, rose water, kewra water, fennel powder and of course bhang leaf batter are required to make this delicious sherbet.
How to make?
The preparation process should be started from the previous night. Peanuts and cashews should be soaked in water the night before. The next day, mix sugar with milk and heat it to thicken it and cool it completely. Once it cools down, mix the almond batter soaked in milk, makha sandesh, bhang leaf batter, can water and fennel powder in a mixer grinder.

Then pour this mixture in a separate vessel and mix rose water and keora water in it. But a special technique is used to double the flavor and aroma of the sherbet. A copper vessel should be heated very well on gas and immersed directly in the syrup mixture. This gives the drink a special smoky aroma and taste.
Finally, serve chilled in a glass with ice cubes. Honestly, Dol Utsav is incomplete without bhang sharbat.
