Market surge sees 47.74% UK Gas jump and 42.33% TTF Gas spike
Energy markets exploded with percentage moves on March 02 2026. The numbers tell the full story. Gas prices posted massive double digit gains. Oil followed with strong single digit rallies. Heating fuels delivered some of the biggest spikes of the session.
Crude Oil rose 6.73% in one day. Weekly gains stand at 7.87%. Monthly growth has reached 13.16%. Year to date it is up 24.57%. Brent performed even better with a 7.94% daily jump. It shows 9.91% weekly growth and 16.70% monthly gains. Year to date Brent has surged 29.13%.
UK Gas and TTF Gas post 47.74% and 42.33% daily gains
The biggest percentage shock came from UK Gas. It skyrocketed 47.74% in a single day. Weekly growth stands at 49.91%. Monthly gains are at 46.67%. Year to date it has climbed 56.02%.
TTF Gas followed closely with a 42.33% daily surge. Weekly it is up 44.06%. Monthly growth is 37.90%. Year to date gains have touched 60.91%.
German Gas also moved higher with a 4.13% daily rise. However it remains down 14.11% monthly and 26.16% year on year.
Natural Gas in the US gained 4.09% in a day. But it shows a 9.94% monthly decline and a 19.10% drop year to date. On a yearly basis it is down 27.66%.
Heating Oil surges 14.48% and Gasoline climbs 4.31%
Heating Oil delivered a sharp 14.48% daily jump. Weekly gains stand at 11.09%. Monthly growth has reached 23.49%. Year to date it has surged 40.25%. Year on year growth is a strong 30.47%.
Gasoline climbed 4.31% in one day. Weekly gains are 6.67%. Monthly growth is at 25.80%. Year to date it is up 40.09%.
Naphtha rose 3.07% daily with 7.53% monthly gains and 20.46% growth year to date.
Coal down 0.55% while Uranium slips 1.70%
Coal slipped 0.55% in one day. Yet it shows 8.62% monthly growth and 10.23% gains year to date. Yearly growth stands at 19.70%.
Coking Coal fell 2.65% daily and is down 10.75% monthly.
Uranium declined 1.70% in a day and 11.95% monthly. Still it holds 6.00% gains year to date and a strong 32.04% yearly rise.
Propane gained 1.70% daily but remains down 27.12% year on year. Methanol rose 5.68% in a day while staying 13.17% lower than last year.
