Gorakhpur, 2 March. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Gorakhpur on Monday to participate in the Holika Dahan festival. As soon as he arrived, people filled the atmosphere with slogans of Jai Shri Ram. In the program organized at Pandeyhata, he was welcomed with 1.25 quintal flower petals. Rose petals were welcomed on the red carpet and the entire area was seen immersed in festive colours.
In the program, the Chief Minister said that Holika Dahan gives us the message of victory of truth, harmony and values over unrighteousness, ego and darkness. This festival inspires us to abandon negativity and build a strong and cultured society. Now people have heard Holi songs in the voice of the MP and Holika Dahan will be organized late at night. While congratulating the people of the state on Holi, he said that this festival gives the message of victory of good over evil and uniting the society.
He said that when a society moves from chaos to order, from chaos to discipline and from untruth to truth, then such festivals become its identity. Today there is chaos, anarchy, chaos and snatching all over the world, but we all Indians can feel proud that the culture of harmony is alive in our country. Today there is disturbance, chaos, disorder and snatching in the entire world. We will always have to be ready for the burning of Holika in the form of corruption, anarchy, chaos and disturbance. There is joy in festivals only when we can enjoy them with enthusiasm without hurting or harming others.
Recalling the old days, the Chief Minister said that earlier the streets here were very narrow, only one vehicle could pass at a time and business was also affected. Now the situation is changing with the thinking of development. He said that development moves from bottom to top and when the heritage corridor is ready, this area will be among the most beautiful parts of the city. He said that funds have been released for the construction of the new complex near DIET and the work will start soon, which will give a new impetus to business and local activities. Earlier, the Chief Minister reached the helipad on time, where BJP officials welcomed him.
After this he reached Circuit House, where a meeting was held with officials of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party. The activities of the organization and preparations for the assembly elections to be held in 2027 were discussed in the meeting. After the meeting, the Chief Minister worshiped Guru Gorakhnath at the Gorakhnath temple.
