In this tour, 1 Test and 3 match ODI series will be played between the two teams. The special thing is that India will play an ODI series against Afghanistan for the first time.

BCCI released schedule

Actually, the Indian team has to host Afghanistan in the month of June this year. Under which a series of 1 Test and 3 ODI matches will be played between the two teams. BCCI has released the complete schedule for this upcoming series. According to the schedule released by BCCI, the series between the two countries will start with only one Test, which will be played in New Chandigarh from June 6 to 10. After this, the three-match ODI series between the two teams will start from June 14.

Let us tell you, this is the first time when the teams of India and Afghanistan will play an ODI series against each other. Earlier, both the teams used to face each other in this format only in ICC events and Asia Cup. The three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan will be played in Dharamshala, Lucknow and Chennai. With this series, the Indian team will start preparing for the ICC ODI World Cup 2027.

In this ODI series between India and Afghanistan, Team India’s veteran players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can be seen in action once again. However, the team has not been officially announced by BCCI yet.
