Features of iPad Air (2026)

On Monday, Apple launched the new iPad Air (2026) in the global market including India. This new generation tablet offers two display sizes for users: 11-inch and 13-inch. It is made available in four attractive colors and can be purchased in Wi-Fi + Cellular and Wi-Fi only variants.

The tablet is powered by the powerful M4 chip, which includes three performance cores and five efficiency cores. It includes a nine-core GPU for graphics capability and a 16-core Neural Engine for faster processing. It works on iPadOS 26 with Apple Intelligence support.

The iPad Air (2026) features a 13-inch Liquid Retina IPS panel with up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It has P3 wide color gamut and anti-reflective coating. It also supports Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil with USB Type-C. Apart from this, Apple Pencil Hover feature is also present.

It has a 12MP rear camera, which records videos in 4K at up to 60fps. It includes features like 5x digital zoom, image stabilization and Focus Pixels for autofocus. There is also a 12MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling, which has Apple’s Center Stage feature, which keeps the user in the frame during the call.

Apple’s new C1X cellular model, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support has been provided in iPad Air (2026). It also includes the N1 chip for better networking. Touch ID is available for security and there are various essential sensors like three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, barometer, and ambient light sensor.

Battery

This tablet has a 36.59Wh battery, which has a capacity of about 10 hours of web browsing and video playback via Wi-Fi.

iPad Air price

The starting price of the 11-inch model of iPad Air (2026) in India is Rs 64,900 for the 128GB base variant. The 256GB and 512GB variants are priced at Rs 74,900 and Rs 94,900 respectively. The price of 1TB variant is Rs 1,14,900. If cellular connectivity with Wi-Fi is required, an additional Rs 15,000 will have to be paid on each variant.

The 128GB model of the 13-inch iPad Air (2026) starts at Rs 84,900. Its 256GB and 512GB variants are priced at Rs 94,900 and Rs 1,14,900. The 1TB variant is priced at Rs 1,34,900, with an additional Rs 10,000 for each variant for the Wi-Fi + Cellular option.
