What actually happened?

Visakha Subedar’s son Abhinay Subedar had left for London for further education. During the journey, the plane had a ‘layover’ in Kuwait. However, due to the warlike situation in the Middle East i.e. between Iran and Israel, the airspace was closed and all flights were cancelled. Due to this, Abhinay is stuck in Kuwait for the last four days.

Presently Abhinay was accommodated in a hotel by the airlines service. Vishakha said that the Indian Embassy in Kuwait has helped Abhinay. But since the situation there is getting serious, Visakha appealed to the government for help. Posting a video on social media, Vishakha said that she requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Vishakha said that just as the Indians in Dubai are being brought back, arrangements should be made to bring back other Indians, including Abhinay, stuck in Kuwait.
