In the viral video, some youths are seen holding a buffalo amidst the colors of Holi. A man is seen pouring liquid directly from a bottle into his mouth. According to experts, the ethanol present in alcohol can be extremely harmful for animals.
This may affect their digestive system and nervous system. Animals may become staggered, unconscious, or have severe liver damage. Intentionally harming animals comes under the category of animal cruelty, under which legal action is possible.

In the comments, users called it ‘disgusting’ and ‘insensitive’. An appeal is also being made to treat animals sensitively during festivals, so that the joyous celebration does not become the cause of anyone’s pain.
