Priyanka Chopra Shares Message of Hope on Holika Dahan Amid US-Iran Conflict
Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East due to the ongoing US-Iran conflict, actor Priyanka Chopra shared a message of hope and resilience on the occasion of Holika Dahan.
As geopolitical developments continue to unfold, with reports of flight disruptions affecting several travelers in Dubai, the actor took to social media to express solidarity and positivity during challenging times.
Priyanka Chopra’s message on Holika Dahan
On Monday, Priyanka posted a photograph of Holika Dahan celebrations on Instagram. The festival symbolises the triumph of good over evil and is observed on the eve of Holi.
In her message, she wrote:
“There’s a lot unfolding around the world. It’s hard. It’s heavy. But light has a way of showing us the way. Here’s to the triumph of good over evil. #HolikaDahan.”
Her message resonated with many followers, reflecting hope and strength amid global uncertainty.
Escalating US-Iran Conflict
Tensions in the Middle East intensified following a reported joint US-Israel military operation against Iran on February 28. Reports suggest that an Israeli strike in Tehran resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran reportedly launched retaliatory strikes targeting locations in Israel and US military bases across the region. Countries including Qatar, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have heightened security measures amid the situation.
Several Indian actors, including Vishnu Manchu, Nargis Fakhri, Sonal Chauhan and Esha Gupta, are reportedly stranded in Dubai due to flight cancellations.
Priyanka Chopra’s Recent and Upcoming Projects
Priyanka Chopra is currently receiving appreciation for her performance in The Bluffdirected by Frank E. Flowers. The pirate action-adventure film also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison. The film is streaming on Prime Video.
She is also set to return to Indian cinema after eight years with Varanasidirected by S. S. Rajamouli. The film features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, with Prakash Raj in a supporting role. Reports indicate that portions of the film are scheduled to be shot in Antarctica. The project is slated for a theatrical release in April 2027.
Additionally, Priyanka has an American comedy titled Judgement Day in development. Directed by Nicholas Stollerthe film stars Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, Billy Eichner, Bobby Cannavale, Bill Camp and Fortune Feimster. The release date is yet to be announced.
