There has been a major reshuffle in Delhi Police. LG has transferred 70 officers. Senior IPS officer Anand Mohan of 1994 batch was made DG Tihar Jail. 1991 batch IPS officer Virendra Singh was made DG Home Guard. 1997 batch IPS officer Surender Singh was made DG Civil Defence.
They got big responsibility
IPS officers Dheeraj Kumar and Abhishek Dhania have been posted to the crime branch, while Monica Bhardwaj has been sent to the IFSO unit. SK Tyagi and Vijayanta Arya have been posted in the traffic wing. In district level posting, IPS Shashank Jaiswal has been given charge as DCP Rohini, DCP Metro Kushal Pal as DCP Dwarka, RP Meena as DCP Shahdara and DVP Outer Sachin Sharma as DCP New Delhi. Reshuffle has also been made in special units. DCP South Ankit Chauhan has been posted as Special Branch, DCP Dwarka Ankit Singh as Vigilance and DCP Ravi Kumar Singh as Additional Commissioner of Police, Economic Offenses Wing.
