This time to do WhatsApp, the knot will be cut! Big announcement may be coming soon
There was long speculation. It might be true this time. You may have to spend a fortune while using WhatsApp to get better service sooner. That is, there will be some features that are only available by ‘subscribing’. Meta may take action on this soon. But those who don’t will have no problem using WhatsApp. This has been claimed in a report published in a newspaper.
However, one thing is made clear in the report. That said, there will be no difficulty in using the ‘free’ version of WhatsApp. But subscribing will get exclusive premium features. It includes many interesting features like exclusive stickers, app themes.
Exactly what features will be in that premier offer? Reportedly, these include pinning more than three chats, custom app icons, new chat ringtones, exclusive stickers, app themes, etc.
WhatsApp is expected to launch the subscription through a waitlist system. It allows users to sign up for early access. But the whole plan is still under discussion. So many features may be added or removed after the official announcement. But most importantly, WhatsApp has emphasized that the subscription will always be optional. That is, even if you want to spend money, there will be no hindrance in using WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, ‘SIM binding’ has been implemented on WhatsApp since February 28. That is, the number used in WhatsApp must have the same SIM in the phone. If a number is closed for more than 90 days, it cannot be used to use WhatsApp or any messaging app. The use of the web version has also undergone major changes. So far the web version could be used until logging out automatically after logging in. Now every 6 hours the web version of WhatsApp has to be logged in again. The center is hopeful that it will be possible to prevent fraud.
